Indonesia's August crude output up 1.14% from July at 834,991 b/d Indonesia's crude oil production in August increased by 1.14% to 834,991 b/d compared with July's output of 825,614 b/d, an official at upstream regulator BPMigas said Wednesday.
The official, who declined to be named, said the country's condensate
production in August rose by 2% to 120,372 b/d from 118,072 b/d in
July. The combined crude and condensate production increased
Indonesia's total production in August by 1.24% to 955,363 b/d compared
with 943,686 b/d in July.
Indonesia is the only Asian OPEC member, but the country has been unable to meet the cartel's quotas. Indonesia missed its oil and condensate output target of 1.05 million b/d for 2006 by pumping only 1.007 million b/d last year. The government expects to increase its oil and gas production by 30% by 2009. --Anita Nugraha, This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it |
