JAKARTA, Sept 4 (Thomson Financial) - Oil and gas company PT Medco Energi Internasional plans to build fuel storage facilities in East Kalimantan, Palembang in South Sumatra and Medan Town in North Sumatra to meet growing demand for such facilities in those areas, company director Rashid Mangunkusumo said.
Medco operates a fuel storage facility in Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta
with capacity to store 22,000 kiloliters of fuel, built at a cost of 12
million US dollars.
The facility started operating in May this year. It is also currently constructing a 3-million-dollar fuel storage in Lamongan Town in East Java which will can store 6,000 kiloliters of fuel, Mangunkusumo said. The facility is expected to be completed over the next six months, he said. |
